今年度は次回が最後です。今までのFace2Faceの総括を含みつつ、他者とのコミュニケーションを行う上で初歩的なことですが、そのコミュニケーションを円滑に進めるために重要なグローバルリテラシーについて討論を交わしましょう。初めての方でも気軽にご参加下さい。

1.21 Face2Face Project
こんにちは。
今日は1月21日に行われたFace2Faceについて更新します。テーマ・発表者は前回の記事の通りです。
本田君、スザンネさんは日本、オーストリアの視点から他国の言語や文化、コミュニケーションを学ぶことについて発表してくれました。ありがとうございました。
発表後、各グループに分かれ、いつものようにテーマフリーの討論をしました。
グループ内では様々な国の出身者がいて、ディスカッションでは自国から日本、日本から他国
のそれぞれ異なる視点で今の「国際交流」について話すことができました。
「日本人は○○だ！」や「日本では○○しにくい」など普段は聞くことができない留学生の本音の声を聞くことができ、有意義な議論だったと思います。
また、「どうして日本の文化がそんなに世界で人気があるのか！？」などグループ間を超え、会場全体での
討論になったのも面白かったですね＾＾
「国際交流」とは何なのか、疑問は残りますが、このF2Fでの議論の場は「国際交流」という言葉ではくくれないなあと感じました。
「交流」に留まらず、もっと深い、生の声のぶつかり合いだと思います。
このF2Fが生の声が聞ける、言いたいことを言える場であってほしいです。
次のF2Fは2月9日です。春休みで旅行や帰省をする前にぜひご参加ください☆

Today, I updated the website of Face 2 Face project with the activity on
the 21st January.
Honda and Suzanne made a presentation about foreign languages, cultures and
communication with foreigners from different view points of their country.
Thank you for your presentation!
In the group discussion, we discussed the current situation of
"international interaction" among many countries.
Since we have some participants coming from other countries, we talked
about what we thought of foreigners and their countries.
For example, one might say something like "Japanese are so shy!"
Across all the groups, we also exchanged our opinions about why Japanese
culture was so popular all over the world. It was really interesting and
exciting discussion.
I hope that F2F project will be the place where everyone can freely express
their opinions
We are planing to have the next F2F project on Feb.9.

Next Face2Face Project
あけましておめでとうございます。
みなさまいかがお過ごしでしょうか。
私は年末年始ののんびりした生活の名残で、朝早い授業についていけなくなっております。
今年初のFace2Face Projectの日程が決まりましたのでお知らせします！
テーマ Cross-Cultural Conversation
日時：2011年1月21日(金) 16:20～18:00(受付16時開始)
場所：学士会館レセプションホール 使用言語：日本語と英語
活動内容
①「International Cafe～学生主体の国際交流活動の意義～」の発表
（発表者：本田秀一 文学部1年 日本）
②「Ich studiere japanology～私が日本語を学び始めたきっかけ～」の発表
（発表者：スザンネ・ロバート HUSA留学生 オーストリア）
③グループに分かれ、参加者による自由討論（1時間程度）
今回は2人の発表者の方が各約15分ずつ発表を行ってくれます。
日本人の学生の方とオーストリアからの留学生の方がそれぞれの他国への関心や関わり方をテーマに発表してくれます。
それぞれ日本とオーストリアという異なる国の観点から国際交流・海外への興味を語って
くださるということで、今回もとても興味深いテーマになるでしょう。

I was relaxing at New Year's Days, so I have not got used to attend a lecture at an early hour yet.
Today, I would like to tell you Next Face2Face Project's information.
Theme :Cross-Cultural Conversation
Date: January 21th (Friday) 16:20-18:00 （registration from16:00)
Venue: Faculty Club 2F Reception Hall Language: English & Japanese
Activities：

12.21 Face2Face Project
こんにちは。
先日21日に12月のFace2Face Projectが行われました。
今日はその報告です！
今回のテーマは「留学生が日本で就職する動機」で、中国からの留学生の陳さんに
発表をしてもらいました。
彼女は以前、実際に東京都港区役所でインターンシップをした経験があり、そこでの経験談や感じたことを
話してくれました。
発表後のディスカッションでは、英語と日本語の２つのグループに分かれ、
留学生が日本の企業に就職することの留学生側、企業側のデメリット、メリットや、
他国でインターンシップを行うこと、文化・言語の違いによる困難などを話しあいました。
就職という身近なテーマについて留学生と日本人学生とでディスカッションをし、
各国の就職事情について話し合うなど多様な視点で話し合うことができました。
日本語、英語どちらの言語も使用してディスカッションしますし、通訳をしてくれる人もいるので
日本語、英語に自信がない人でもぜひ参加してみて下さい♪
今回は雨という悪天候の中、参加していただいたみなさまありがとうございました。
次回のFace2Faceはオーストリアからの留学生のスザンネさんに
発表をしてもらいます。詳細が決まったらまた報告します。

We had this Face2Face project on December 21 and I report this project
today.
The topic was “international student's motivation to
work in Japan”.
This presenter, who is an HUSA student from China, has experience of
internship in the Minato Ward Office in Tokyo before, so she talked about
her experience to work in Japan.
After her presentation, we were separated into two groups,
one is in English and the other is in Japan.
Each groups has both international students and Japanese students, so we
can talk about 'getting a job overseas for exchange students'
at diverse points of view.
Even if you don't have any confidence in your Japanese or English,
there will be no problem because we have discussion in both English and
Japanese with some interpreters.
We hope that more students participate in next Face2Face project!
Next Project will be held in January by Susanne. She is a HUSA
student and from Austria.
I will update more information about this as soon as possible.

Hello!
こんにちは！久しぶりの更新になります。
今後、各回のFace２Face projectの振り返りや次の回に向けての情報を月２，３回くらいのペースで更新していくつもりですので、ぜひチェックしてください。
前回のFace2Faceは１１月２５日に行われ、テーマは次世代クリーンエネルギーでした。
前回のFace2Faceは１１月２５日に行われ、テーマは次世代クリーンエネルギーでした。
クリーンエネルギーは環境に負荷をかけないエネルギー(太陽熱、風力など)で、現在日本でもよく耳にする言葉です。そこで今回はグループに分かれてクリーンエネルギー、資源獲得競争について自由に意見を交換しました。発表者の留学生ギュルヴァンさんが小型水力発電機のベンチャービジネスをしているということで、ベンチャービジネスの観点からも議論を進めるグループもありました。
最後は各グループの代表者に発表をしてもらい、各グループで出た意見をみんなで共有しました。
クリーンエネルギーや環境に対する捉え方は参加者のみなさんそれぞれで、自由な意見交換が活発に行われ、楽しみながら新しい意見や考え方に出逢うことができたのではないでしょうか。
参加してくださった方、ありがとうございました。
次回の日程はまだ未定ですが冬休みに入る前に次のFace2Face projectを行う予定です！
日程が決まり次第、詳細を更新します。

The last Face2Face Project was held on November 25 and the theme was “next-generation clean energy”.
We separated into three groups, and we each discussed clean energy, venture business and competition for acquisition of nature.
There were one group which discussed venture business because Gurvan, who is a presenter in this time, talked about his venture business(a small machine for hydroelectric power generation) in his presentation.
Finally, representatives of each groups presented what they discuss or how opinion they had in their group.
Each participant have each viewpoint of clean energy, therefore, we could come across new and different ideas.

today's project
Hallo, everyone.
Thank you for your coming to Face2Face Project today.
Today's topic "U.S. military force in Japan" is very difficult &
complecated problem to discuss.
In terms of Global Literacy, we should not ignore the feelings of
Okinawan people and therefore, one answer is necessary to decrease
their burden.
On the other hand, considreing geopolitics and international security
in East-Asia, U.S. military force has still powerful existence and
seems to be important for Japan, whose Constitution doesn't allowed
her to have their own army.
Anyway, from this April to July, we're gonna keep this project going
on through dealing with Balance Of Power in the world.
At least for me, today's discussion was so exciting and interesting
that I would like to continue this atmosphere.
Next project will be held May 31st from 4 p.m.
The place is not decided, so I will tell you as soon as possible.
I hope to see you again and enjoy this international dialogue together.
